my bret easton ellis (BEE) phase.......um. his novels are the first thing i have ever properly loved, they are near and dear to my heart.
i like his stories because:
- they are representative of my personal alienation from humanity (as in: i think everyone can feel out of touch with their concept of people [how they should feel and behave] and the ones in BEE i can relate to)
- we have a lot of the same interests and portray them similarly
i have done a few things and continue to do them, to show my appreciation ^_^

GLAMORAMA is my FAVORITE BEE NOVEL and it is criminally underrated. so i make art for it + try to make sense of it (it is quite nonsensical)... like, i'm doing some "be the change you wish to see in the world 🥺" stuff
