hii these are my favorite albums and eps. this isn't meant to be a "top 10 forever please listen" but more so a log of music i've loved. inevitably i will not feel the same, but what matters is that at one point, they were close to my heart. MUSIC. 👍

just an all around joy to listen to. even the 10 minute one isn't unbearable to sit through
so much good lyrics to have chosen from but i did these because it was the most real to me . love the delivery of "i know we suffer for fashion or whatevahhh"
... okay this was going to be a whole thing but in general i love We Were Born the Mutants Again with Leafling. it's my favorite. the instrumentation is just adorable .. and "we love to view unfortunate passions" "let them say our love is peculiar, don't care." ahhh 😊

oh. my god. I LOVE MILI !!!!!!! i identify with so many of their songs. THANK YOU CASSIE WEI for the amazing lyrics.
a lot of mili songs have to do with heartbreak, specifically from the lack of love, and the shitty self esteem that could arise from it. changing yourself to fit what you think your lover needs is a topic quite a few of their songs touch on
but THIS album, oh man. i love it so much. i'm not too sure how much the game it was made for, library of ruina, influences the songwriting, but woooooow. "iron lotus" absolutely killed me
the variety of moods within this is so fun!! idk how to explain, you'd just have to listen to it. it's a really fun trip, and only 27 minutes long, so you've gottaaaaa

"after i confessed" just makes me go WHEEEEEwheeWHEE and then in "born to lie" it's like woooah..woaah. and so on. YOU KNOW ????

i'm not TOO FAMILIAR with of montreal. and for some reason i feel like i should be, but we'll get there eventually. the singer/songwriter kevin barnes seems to write lyrics that i feel i can relate to. idk.

genuinely really love the transition in tone after "you want a song." though they weren't released/written in that order, the serious, more downer part is assembled in the latter part of the album
"fortified" is how i was introduced to this album and it's my FAVORITE i love how intense.. yet quiet it is.
it reminds me of a paranoid thought pattern, piecing things together that are perhaps not even connected... the driving at night, and someone is also there with you, but maybe not?? but if they were, it's not someone you trust
and all of this combined with the song title. PERFECTION..!
